Popular Kapuso screenwriter Suzette Doctolero on Shopee fuss: 'Kung saan may sale at promo doon ako'

A popular Filipino screenwriter for movies and television took to Twitter to share her opinion on criticisms of the selection of celebrities for local endorsements.

On Twitter on Sept. 30, Suzette Doctolero said that she patronizes both Lazada and Shopee, rival online shopping platforms, and she doesn't care about their endorsers.

"Pareho ko ginagamit ang Shopee at Lazada. Kung saan may sale at promo, doon ako. Pake ko kung sino endorser. Doon ako sa makakamura hahaha," Suzette tweeted.

Suzette was apparently referring to the Shopee uproar when it announced that Toni Gonzaga-Soriano has been selected as its latest celebrity endorser.

Despite criticisms, Toni said that she's grateful and blessed for having been chosen as Shopee's newest celebrity endorser.

Suzette is best known for being the creator of Encantadia in 2005. Her other recent projects include Kambal, Karibal; Legal Wives; Maria Clara at Ibarra; and the upcoming series Voltes V: Legacy.

Many netizens agreed to the tweet of Suzette.
