"The mobile police outpost is a rolling station for patrollers as their standby point most accessible to people, bringing right at their noses whatever assistance they need from the PNP," said Estomo.

"This is to make sure that police presence is always seen and felt," he added.

The first mobile outpost was first deployed at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.

Estomo said there will be more mobile police outposts that will be deployed in various parts of Metro Manila.

He said the outpost was designed as movable for easy transfer to another places which demand police presence, like for instance on special occasions, in the cemeteries come the celebration of All Souls and Hallowen Day.
