Kristoffer Martin debuts single 'Di Ba' under GMA Music

Known for his role in "Endless Love," "Tween Hearts," "Munting Heredera," "Pahiram ng Sandali," "Kakambal ni Eliana" and "Kahit Nasaan Ka Man," actor and singer Kristoffer Martin debuted in the music scene with the song "Di Ba".

During a Zoom with the entertainment press recenty, Kristoffer shared the excitement in discussing his musical side.

"Namiss ko, kasi ganun na rin katagal because of the pandemic, tapos nabusy rin, ang dami ko rin ginawang teleserye, sabi ko nga namimiss ko na kumunta, kaya sakto nung gusto ako ni GMA Music na magrecord ulit,"  he said.

Kristoffer also said that creating "Di Ba" was a big thing for him because he gets to sing the song in Filipino, and he also gave his help with the bridge part of the song.

"Iba yung fullfilment and satisfaction kapag alam mong may ambag ka dun sa ginawa niyo," he added. The song talks about a couple who's in denial of their failing relationship.

Despite singing a heartbreak song, Kristoffer shared that he enjoys the life of being a family man to his wife and daughter.

"For me, sa state po ng buhay ko ngayon I think what happend from the past big lesson talaga na kailangan ko pagdaanan, para yung contentment ko iba, sa family ko, sa wife ko, at sa anak ko, kung hindi dumaan yung pagsubok yun hindi ko mararamdaman yung contentment ko ngayon," he shared.

The actor also added that it was a bit challenging for him to sing a sad song. From becoming a well-known actor, Kristoffer mentioned that he is planning to create more music in the future.

His new single "Di Ba" under GMA Music will be available on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music on Sept. 30. (Carissa Alcantara)
