“Shut Down” is BLACKPINK’s second song to reach No. 1 on the chart after “Pink Venom,” a pre-release single that was dropped on Aug. 19.

BLACKPINK’s “Hard to Love” and “Happiest Girl” debuted at Nos. 17 and 20.

In addition, BLACKPINK member Lisa’s “Lalisa” and “Money” took second and third places, respectively.

“Rush Hour,” a song by Crush featuring BTS’ J-Hope, debuted at No. 4 on the chart. This is Crush’s first Hot Trending Songs entry and third for J-Hope after “More” and “Arson,” Billboard added.

BTS’ “Yet to Come” is No. 6 followed by NCT 127’s “2 Baddies,” Mew Suppasit x Bumkey’s “Forever Love,” Ha Sung-woon and BTS’ Jimin’s “With You” and GOT7 member BamBam’s “Slow Mo.”

BLACKPINK earlier topped the Billboard 200 with “Born Pink,” becoming the first female K-pop group to reach No. 1 on the chart.

They are also “the first all-female group to score a No. 1 on the chart since Danity Kane in 2008 (with Welcome to the Dollhouse).”

“Born Pink” also debuted at No. 1 on UK’s Official Albums Chart to make BLACKPINK the first K-pop girl group to top it. BLACKPINK’s “The Album” peaked at No. 2 on the chart in 2020.

On topping Billboard 200 and UK’s Official Albums Chart, BLACKPINK said, “It’s an honorable moment our BLINKS made for us. Thank you so much and we love you. We’re really happy that this album, which was completed after so much consideration and effort by many staff, has been reached to the public the way we wanted,” according to the YG blog.

They added, “We really wanted to present BLACKPINK’s upgraded music, and portray our originality during the process of making ‘Born Pink.’ We’ll do our best to show the best of us in future as well.”
