Maya adds GIF for Send Money moods

ICYMI, you can send GIFs along with your Send Money transactions with Maya! Whether you’re sending money to your friends for your lunch out ambag, or sharing a birthday treat to your sibling, there are many ways – over 10 billion GIFs to be exact – to make your Send Money transactions with Maya more fun. So kung ubos na sweldo mo, or it's bayad utang time - there's a Maya GIF for that!

Maya has partnered with Giphy to help you add a personal touch to your Send Money transactions. So, in occasions when words fail, simply send a GIF when you transfer money to your friends and family! To make your Send Money transactions even more fun, Maya has come up with new GIFs that perfectly capture your Send Money moods.  To start sending money with GIFs, just follow these easy steps:   

  1. Tap Send Money on your Maya app  
  2. Key in the mobile number of your recipient, amount for sending, and a personalized note.  
  3. Slide the toggle for ‘Personalize your Message’ and tap select GIF.   
  4. Choose from over 10 billion GIFs available via Giphy. If you want to find GIFs specifically made for you by Maya, just search 'mayagifs'!
