Netflix held its yearly “Tudum,” a global 24-hour virtual fan event, to present its upcoming titles on the platform.
Tudum Korea was hosted by SHINee’s Minho and “All of Us Are Dead” star Cho Yi-hyun.
Here are the upcoming Korean shows on Netflix:
Hellbound Season 2
Topping Netflix’s global series list following its release last November, “Hellbound” will be back for a second season.
Money Heist: Korea-Joint Economic Area Pt. 2
The first part of “Money Heist: Korea-Joint Economic Area” composed of six episodes was released on Netflix in June. The series will be returning with part 2.
Physical: 100
In “Physical: 100,” 100 male and female contestants battle it out under the new extreme competition series.
The Fabulous series
“The Fabulous” Korean series will star Minho and actress Chae Soo-bin. It tells the story four best friends and their quest to chase their dreams.
Minho is Ji Woo-min, a freelance photo editor who is known for his attractive appearance. He finds it hard to find passion in his work. Things change when he encounters Pyo Ji-eun (played by Chae Soo-bin), a PR manager for luxury brands, and the two find themselves in a blossoming romance.
Single’s Inferno Season 2
The Korean dating show “Single’s Inferno” will return with a second season on Netflix. Season 2 will have 10 episodes with participants hoping to find their match in a deserted island.
Squid Game
Director Hwang Dong-hyuk is busy writing the second season of the global hit Korean series “Squid Game.” During Tudum, he unveiled an unreleased clip from season 1.
Korea No. 1
Yoo Jae-suk, Lee Kwang-soo and Kim Yeon-koung will also star in the variety show "Korea No. 1."
“To give you a quick overview, me, Kwang-soo and Yeon-koung will visit Korea's master craftsmen to experience our traditional culture and share the spirit,” said Yoo Jae-suk, the star of “Running Man.”
Glitch
The series “Glitch” will be released the earliest on Netflix and it will star Jeon Yeo-bin and Nana.
“Glitch is a story about Jihyo, who can see aliens, and Bora, who has been tracking down aliens. They search to find Jihyo's boyfriend, who has gone missing without a trace and end up taking a step closer to unsolved mysteries in this bizarre series,” according to Minho.
