NCT 127’s ‘2 Baddies’ tops weekly chart with 1.03-M copies sold, No. 3 on Billboard 200 


K-pop boy band NCT 127’s fourth studio album has topped the weekly album chart in South Korea and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.

According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, “2 Baddies,” released on Sept. 16, sold 1,038,304 copies from Sept. 19 to 25 (equivalent to a physical record index of 1,072,240) to grab the No. 1 spot on the weekly physical album chart.

Hanteo Chart now ranks albums based on its own physical record index, which incorporates the price of an album.

“2 Baddies” recorded first week sales in South Korea of 1,547,595 copies from Sept. 16 to 22 based on Hanteo Chart.

In addition, “2 Baddies” debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, NCT 127’s third top 10 ranking.

“It matches the act’s chart high, first achieved with its previous album, Sticker: The 3rd Album, which debuted and peaked at No. 3 on the Oct. 2, 2021-dated list,” according to Billboard.

It added, “‘2 Baddies’ bows with 58,500 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, album sales comprise 55,500; SEA units comprise 3,000 (equaling 3.85 million on-demand official streams of the set’s 12 songs) and TEA units comprise a negligible sum.”
