Are actress Sunshine Cruz and politician Macky Mathay no longer a couple?
This is the question of many netizens after they noticed that the two are no longer following each other on their Instagram account.
Adding fuel to the fire were Sunshine's seemingly cryptic posts.
Sunshine wrote recently: "There is always something to be grateful for (heart emoji)."
Prior, Sunshine posted about her realizations and challenges during lock-in taping for 35 days recently.
"It wasn’t easy coz there’s not much you can do but pray and hope for the best. Challenges and trials will always be part of our lives and at the end of the day, we just have to focus on positive things coming our way," she said. "So much blessings are being given to me and my family afterall. Wala akong karapatang mag reklamo."
"'Everything happens for a reason, live it, love it, learn from it,'" she added.
The said post immediately received reactions from Sunshine's showbiz friends, who extended support.
Ruffa Gutierrez commented: "Sending you hugs, Shine. Hope you’re doing okay now."
Donna Cruz said: "Beautiful! God will work things together for our good, Shine! Love and miss you! 'And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.' (Romans 8:28 NKJV)."
Cathy Valencia related: "Tight hug and kisses for you shine."
Note that Sunshine and Macky were supposed to celebrate their sixth anniversary last Sept. 18.
At that time, the actress-singer shared a throwback photo of her in Paris.
Then the following day, she uploaded a heartfelt video of her singing Natalie Cole's "Someone That I Used to Love."
"Try lang. My first time to sing this song. Please bear with me guys. Wear earphones for better sound. Have a wonderful day everyone," her caption read.

Meanwhile, Macky's last post on his Instagram feed was last Sept. 16, which is an art card.
As of writing, he still uses his photo with Sunshine as a profile picture on the said social media platform.
