This was to make sure that the DSWD's Disaster Operations and equipment are ready to respond to any possible effects of super typhoon Karding in areas that will be directly hit by the super typhoon.

Super typhoon Karding made landfall in Burdeos, Quezon at 5:30 p.m. as per PAGASA's advisory.

It is expected to make another landfall within General Nakar or Dingalan on Sunday evening as per the weather bureau's 8 p.m. bulletin.
