POTUS meets PBBM...and Sandro


Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos met another head of state and he's probably the most famous of them all.

In a Facebook post at around midnight Friday (Philippine time), Sept. 23, Rep. Marcos uploaded a photo of himself shaking hands with the towering figure that is United States (US) President Joe Biden.

Looking on proudly in the background is Speaker Martin Romualdez of the Philippine House of Representatives.

The rookie congressman's photo caption simply read "POTUS", which stands for President of the United States.

Rep, Marcos's rubbing elbows with Biden took place on the sidelines of the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, at around the time of that the latter met with Philippine President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

Rep. Marcos, 28, is President Marcos’s eldest son.
