3 men fall, P51,600 shabu seized in Baguio buy-busts

BAGUIO CITY – Police arrested three regional drug personalities and seized suspected shabu valued at P51,600 in separate buy-bust operations on Tuesday, Sept. 20, here.

Col. Glenn Lonogan, police chief here, said one of the suspects, Richard Cayanan Narbonita, 37, a security guard, from Pozzorubio, Pangasinan and resident of Barangay San Antonio, this city, is among the Regional Top 10 Illegal Drug Personalities this year.

Lonogan said the suspect had been monitored for a long time in relation to various drug personalities and his sideline selling illegal drugs here and neighboring municipalities.

Police arrested Narbonita in Guisad Central and seized from him were .35 grams of suspected shabu valued at P3,312, two improvised glass tooters with residue of suspected marijuana leaves, buy-bust money, cellphone, boodle money, wallet, and various IDs.

Other drug suspects arrested were high value targets Ival Olimpo Estavillo, 36, online seller, and his accomplice Michael Manalo Galano, 37, virtual assistant.

Recovered from the duo nabbed in Lower Magsaysay were 7.11 grams of suspected shabu worth P48,348, two improvised glass tooters with residue of suspected marijuana leaves, buy-bust money, cellphone, a motorcycle, motorcycle key, and two motorcycle helmets.

Suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and the seized illegal drugs will be taken to the Baguio City Crime Laboratory Office for confirmatory test and qualitative examination.
