Patch Magtanong and Joshua Cordoves are engaged

Former Binibining Pilipinas beauty queen and lawyer Bea Patricia "Patch" Magtanong and model Joshua Cordoves are engaged.

The couple announced their engagement on social media on Thursday, Sept. 22.

"They say deciding on a life partner is difficult, thank you for making it easy for me," wrote Patch and Joshua as a caption on Instagram.

Based on their social media post, it seems that the proposal happened in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Bea, 28, was crowned Binibining Pilipinas 2019. In the same year, she represented the Philippines at the Miss International pageant held in Japan, where she became one of the top 8 finalists.

In 2914, she graduated cum laude with a degree in business economics from the University of the Philippines Diliman. She passed the Philippine Bar Examination in October 2018.

Joshua is the brother of former BInibining Pilipinas Grand International 2016 Nicole Cordoves, who won 1st runner in the Miss Grand International 2016 contest. Nicole is currently one of the judges in the Miss Q&A segment of the noontime program "It's Showtime."

Netizens and their friends congratulated the couple on their engagement.
