The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the road paving of a portion of a national highway in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, which it said, may bring economic growth to the Mindanao region.
DPWH Region 12 Director Basir M. Ibrahim said the Sampao-Bonita National Highway improves the mobility of agricultural goods in the southern Philippines and will bring relief to the commuting public and minimize the expenses of transportation of goods in the market.

Sultan Kudarat is known for producing palm oil products.
