Mayor Joy holds People's Day in QC's District 1

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte on Tuesday, Sept. 20, visited the mini city hall in Barangay Katipunan for the “People’s Day” where she listened to the concerns of the residents in the city’s first district.

According to the city government, the mayor met with the residents including senior citizens to listen and help them with their needs like medical assistance and barangay concerns.

The People’s Day is a once a week event where the mayor accepts “QCitizens” to listen to their concerns and suggestions, according to quezoncity.gov.ph. Individuals and groups are welcome to have an audience with the mayor.

On Sept. 15, Belmonte also visited the mini city hall in District 4 for the People’s Day.
