Actor arrested in Biñan for cybercrime

BIÑAN CITY, Laguna – An actor and TV personality was arrested for cybercrime in Barangay Biñan on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

The Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the accused as Conrado Manuel Ambrosio II alias Dindo Arroyo, 61 years old.

Biñan City Police Station nabbed Ambrosio by virtue of an arrest warrant issued on Sept. 15 by the Regional Trial Court Branch 101 in Santa Rosa City.

The accused is facing two counts of violating the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 with a recommended bail of P10,000 per case.

In a statement, Laguna PPO officer-in-charge Col. Randy Glenn G. Silvio said "the arrest proves that the law applies to all."
