Kat Alano, allegedly raped by celebrity #rhymeswithwrong, claims 'justice' after 17 years

After 17 years, English-Filipino model and host Kat Alano claimed she finally achieved "justice" after she was raped by a celebrity whose name "#rhymeswithwrong."
On Twitter on Monday, Sept. 19, Kat shared a cryptic post where she thanked God for finally achieving justice.
"I can finally feel peace today. God is good all the time. Justice, finally after 17 years."

Kat's post coincided with the issuance of a warrant of arrest against actor-singer Vhong Navarro for alleged acts of lasciviousness against model Deniece Cornejo. It was issued by the Taguig City Metropolitan Trial Court (MeTC) on Sept. 19.
Kat, 37, did not mention the name of her suspect, but netizens thought she was referring to Vhong whose name rhymes with "wrong." She also detailed how she was allegedly raped by the suspect in 2005.
Actress Alessandra de Rossi comforted Kat with a Bible verse. "The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent."

Vhong has posted bail after he surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation.
But another Taguig court has issued a warrant to arrest Vhong, with no bail recommended also for the alleged rape of Deniece.
In an order dated Sept. 19, the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69 ordered authorities to arrest Vhong. The court also did not recommend bail for the comedian.
The second warrant of arrest was served when Vhong surrendered to the NBI.
Kat appeared in the movies "No Other Woman," "In The Name of Love," "Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo," etc. Prior, she had stints in Studio 23, Wowowee, MTV Philippines; Fit and Fab, among others.
