Man wanted for rape nabbed in Manila

The city government of Manila announced on Monday, Sept. 19, the capture of a 61-year-old man tagged as the No. 1 most wanted person of Police Station 11 for alleged rape and acts of lasciviousness.

Gener Argales Redalda alias “Lolo Gener”, who was able to hide from the authorities for two years, was nabbed on Muelle dela Industria St. in Binondo, Manila at around 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 15.

Personnel from Manila Police District warrant section and 4th Mobile Force Company (MFC) Regional Mobile Force Company (RFMB) served a warrant of arrest to Redalda who is facing rape and four counts of acts of lasciviousness, with a recommended bail of P200,000 and P180,000 each, respectively.

The suspect was brought to Meisic Police Station for proper documentation and disposition.

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna, who led the presentation of the suspect, thanked Police Lt. Col. Rexson Layug and his team for their efforts in arresting Redalda.
