Fans air support for Zephanie

Fans were quick to back Zephanie following Vice Ganda's casual remark on "Idol Philippines" recently.

There, the comedian-host said, "Sa bagong hihiranging grand Idol winner, sana maraming magbukas na opportunities sa ‘yo. (At) sana mag-stay ka muna dito sa network na ‘to.”

To be clear, Vice didn't mention names, but many were only too quick to assume his statement was meant as an attack against Zephanie who won as grand champion on the reality contest in 2019.

She is now with GMA.

Some of the comments:

"Nandito lang kami para sayo Zeph. Wag mo siyang pansinin."

"Laban Zephanie!"

"Grabe parinig. As if..."

"Ano ba naman itong si Vice. Pati bata...tsk tsk tsk..."

"Toxic. Napakayabang. Akala mo siya magpapakain sa pamilya nung bata..."

"Wag mong pansinin...bitter lang yan!"

Zephanie has kept mum on the issue.
