Boy Abunda inspires, guides, lauds granddaughter of Fil-Brit society lady

Talk King Boy Abunda has always been very generous and inspiring in his wisdom to many young boys and girls, men and women, even old folks.
That is why when he came across Franchessa Loucel C. Domingo—a Grade Six graduate from the Santo Niño Catholic School in Taguig City — Boy was proud to have known her as a youth leader who has been spreading love and idealism among her lot.
It is because Abunda shared the same academic objectives and achievements of Chessa (as the girl is fondly called) when he was still in school—the latest of which was his finishing a master’s degree in Communication Arts and a doctoral diploma in Social Development, in 2011 and 2016 respectively, both from the Philippine Women’s University.

Abunda lauded Franchessa for her accomplishments as a graduate with highest honors. “You’re very pretty. You made your family proud. I wanna say this straight from my heart, enjoy your journey, you are very smart and go for your dreams, enjoy the experience, enjoy the journey,” exclaimed Boy. Domingo—a granddaughter of Fil-Brit social entrepreneur Lady Datin Lourdes Salinas de la Cruz Stutely—was awarded during her school’s 29th Commencement Exercises for Outstanding Performances in Christian Living, Communication Arts, Social Science, Arts, and Technical Vocational Education. She was also conferred the Cape of Sto. Niño and accolades for Growth and Conduct, Performing Church Servant of the Year, and Highlights Library Highest Lexile.
In her valedictory address, Chessa assured her fellow graduates about God’s love and her teachers’ care for them. “I’ve learned that there’s nothing to be afraid of. Just commit to God for all the talents He had given us all these years,” she said.
Boy advised Chessa about being a good and kind person apart from her honorable standing as a student. “You are very smart. Go for your dreams, enjoy the experience, enjoy the journey and don’t ever be afraid to love, to learn and don’t be afraid to commit mistakes for as long as you know that after committing the mistakes you are able to right and that’s the important thing. It’s not always fair weather. There are hard times along the way but keep that good heart, study hard, love your parents, love your family, serve God and most important of all, fill your cup with so much love so you can share that love with others,” gushed Abunda.
