One Muntinlupa political party to help poor kids get birth certificates
The One Muntinlupa political party under Mayor Ruffy Biazon marked its first anniversary on Sept. 17 with a project to help poor kids get their birth certificates.
On Sept. 17 last year, the Commission on Elections approved the registration of One Muntinlupa as a political party.

Biazon said to celebrate the first anniversary, One Muntinlupa has launched a project to help poor kids have their birth certificates.
“Mayroong mga kabataan na nangangailangan ng birth certificate para sa iba’t-ibang mga requirements pero dahil sa kahirapan ay hindi nila kinakaya ang kumuha (There are kids who need birth certificate for different requirements but due to poverty, they are unable to get a copy),” said Biazon in a Facebook post.
One Muntinlupa will help these kids in getting their birth certificates.
One Muntinlupa became the first and is the only local political party that is registered with Comelec.
According to Biazon, to be registered as a political party, One Muntinlupa submitted party principles and party agenda to the Comelec.
In the May 2022 elections, One Muntinlupa swept all the 19 positions with Biazon winning as mayor, Jaime Fresnedi as congressman, Artemio Simundac as vice mayor and its 16 candidates bagging all the seats for councilor.
To date, One Muntinlupa has more than 4,000 members.
