Mimiyuuuh advises those who are insecure about their looks

Breakout vlogger Mimiyuuuh shared how she got out of her insecurity about her appearance and advised those who are in a similar situation to "accept your imperfections."

"Everything starts with acceptance na hindi talaga tayo magiging perfect. There will always be somebody who will look better than us. But once you accept you are beautiful in your own way, no one should stop you from achieving your dreams," Mimiyuuuh stated in an interview after an event launching her and Miss World 2013 Megan Young as the new endorsers of Colgate Optic White O2's #SMILEOUTLOUD campaign.

Megan agreed with Mimi, adding that while she's a beauty queen, she believed that she didn't have the perfect smile growing up because of her "bunny teeth"

"Anyway, people will always have something to say about you, whether you are in their good graces or not. We should not let them get the best of us. We know ourselves better," Megan pointed out.

Mimiyuuuh, who has more than four million followers on YouTube, said being chosen as an ambassador of Colgate was beyond her wildest dreams.

She said there were offers in the past to fix her uneven teeth but she said no.

"'If not for these teeth, I wouldn't be The Mimi. I'm super honored to represent people with imperfect teeth, like yung mga sungki. We don't need perfect teeth to shine. Am glad that brands like Colgate are now open to imperfection. Perfection is boring," the vlogger declared.

Mimiyuuuh has confided that she was bullied as a young child and she was also insecure about the fact she didn't have the same social status as her rich classmates in De La Salle College of St. Benilde.

She said she found strength in her family because "they really love me for who I am and they really boost my confidence so hindi ko na talaga kelangan maging perfect." She added that she feels blessed to provide comfortably for her parents now that she has become famous.

Mimiyuuuh and Megan both shared their personal experience using Colgate Optic White O2 which is a complete range of teeth whitening products powered by Active Oxygen Technology. It consists of Optic White O2 Toothpaste, mouthwash, teeth whitening pen plus the teeth whitening kit which has both the pen and patented lead device.

The two influencers gushed that the product "really whitens teeth in an instant, after two minutes of brushing."
