Relic of 'True Cross' to be exposed at Manila Cathedral

The relic of the True Cross of our Lord will be exposed for veneration at the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, Wednesday, Sept. 14.

The Manila Cathedral announced the scheduled exposition in their Facebook page, Tuesday.

It will be exposed for public veneration on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross followed by the memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows until Sunday.

The Manila Cathedral said the relic of the "True Cross" is a piece of the exact cross where our Lord offered His life that was discovered by St. Helena.

The relic is enshrined on the Jubilee 2000 Cross at the Cathedral.
