35,887 take PMA 2022 entrance exam

FORT GEN. GREGORIO H. DEL PILAR, Baguio City – The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) said Monday, Sept. 12, that 35,887 examinees are taking the Philippine Military Academy Entrance Examination this year in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The PMA said 9,444 examinees took the test in Visayas and Mindanao.

In Mindanao, a two-day examination was held from Aug. 27 to 28 in 14 cities with 6,739 examinees.

In the Visayas, 2,705 took the two-day examination in nine testing centers on Sept. 10 to 11. There were 1,616 examinees in the first day and 1,089 in the second day.

Lt. Col. Mark Anthony Ruelos, PMA information officer, said Luzon had the most examinees with 26,443. They will take the test in 25 testing centers on Sept. 24 to 25.

Ruelos said they are expecting many applicants in the exam here.

“In the Baguio City testing center alone, there are already 2,000 applicants and the number may increase as walk-ins with complete documents will be allowed to take the exam during the day," said Ruelos.

Ruelos said the result will be released after a month and successful examinees will be notified through postal letter and published in the newspaper and PMA social media page.
