Deputy Director General Aniceto Bertiz III said the free TESDA Online Program (TOP) courses are useful in re-tooling, upskilling and reskilling OFWs, and provides training and livelihood programs for OFWs and their families.

"Through these programs, we aim to prepare our Filipino workers – wherever they are – to become highly-skilled and globally-competitive, and who can adapt to the ever-changing demand of the industry,” he said in his recent visit in Seoul, South Korea where he attended the K-Skills Competition last Aug. 28.

The TOP is accessible via the https://e-tesda.gov.ph/ or via TOP Mobile App which can be downloaded on smartphones through Google Play Store and App Store.

Bertiz said TESDA, together with its partner agencies and the private sector, has other programs for OFWs which includes the OFW Reintegration for Skills Employment (RISE).

He also lauded the PEAK Pinoy Program, or the Promoting Entrepreneurship and Agri-business to OFWs in South Korea, which aims to provide entrepreneurship and agribusiness seminars for Filipinos in Korea. He likewise expressed his support for this initiative.

“I assure you of our support in all your efforts at improving technical vocational skills, especially for our OFWs and their families,” he said.
