How Julia Barretto handled Matteo Guidicelli's teases involving Joshua Garcia, Gerald Anderson's 'ghosting'

Matteo Guidicelli recently teased Julia Barretto about her former boyfriend, Joshua Garcia.
This happened when Julia became a contestant in the "Maritest" segment of the noontime program "Tropang LOL" on TV5 recently.
Julia was asked: “Sinong sikat na aktor ang nali-link ngayon sa YouTube content creator na si Bella Racelis – dahil madalas i-like ni aktor ang mga posts ni girl?”
Among the choices were Joshua, Diego Loyzaga, Alden Richards, and Donny Pangilinan.
TV host Matteo Guidicelli teased Julia about her reaction upon hearing Joshua’s name.
But Julia said she's not “sensitive.”
“Siyempre pag past ni-le-let go mo yan with grace and with gratefulness. So pag binabalikan mo yan dapat walang bitterness. Dapat magkakaibigan lang,” she said, then added: “Kung saan siya masaya, dun tayo masaya.”
Matteo continued to tease Julia by asking her their pet name for each other after she answered “Josh” to the question.
“Come on, sa present lang tayo. Present lang tayo,” Julia told Matteo.
When she found out she got the correct answer, Julia said: “That’s good. Masaya tayo para sa kanila. Kung saan yung happiness dun tayo.”
But it didn't end there.
Julia teased Matteo as well, relating she just wanted to ask him something.
However, Matteo didn't let his guard down, saying: "Ano? Chismis? Kailan kasal mo?"
The sexy star then related: "Mabilis lang! Hindi. Kamusta na kayo ni Alex? (Gonzaga)."
Matteo replied: "Okay naman, bakit?"
Julia was seemingly referring to Matteo and Alex's controversial spat last month.
Julia continued: "Bakit parang ang dami kong naririnig, Matt? Ayoko ng ganun. Friends ko kayo parehas."
She then asked him to send Alex a message.
Julia then told Matteo: "Yun lang? Wala ng pasensiya na lang ha sa nangyari medyo..."
So Matteo immediately obliged, expressing an apology to Alex and her husband Mikee Morada.
Satisfied with what Matteo did, Julia declared: "Happy na ako."
But Matteo quickly interjected: "Si Joshua nag-reply na ba?"
In disbelief, Julia made faces, then put Matteo in his place.
She said: "Hindi mo ba nabalitaan, iba na boyfriend ko ngayon. Sandali, bumawi ka. Ibahin mo yung tanong. Ibahin mo yung pangalan. Bad yun... Ulitin mo ulit from the (start)."
Matteo said: "Nag-text na ba si mahal mo, si Gerald Anderson?"
Julia answered: "Yes. Alam mo kung anong tinanong? Sana hindi bumabanat yung Matteo diyan. Joke lang!"
Moving forward, the Viva actress advised Matteo not to create issues.
"Uy, sorry sa mga nababanggit na pangalan ha. We're so out of your business, promise," she reiterated.
Then Matteo added in jest: "Okay lang yan, di ba Gerald Anderson define the word ghosting?"
Shocked, Julia couldn't help but made faces again.
Other hosts told Matteo he'll go viral again.
But the actor-singer defended that he really didn't know the word ghosting before Gerald did.
Julia reacted: "Actually it's not the first time I heard it ha. You know why? The first time I heard that word actually may nagkwento sa akin about Matteo Guidicelli. Pero hahaba, di ba? O, okay... Huwag na natin i-mention sino yung ginanun mo."
