SUBIC, Zambales – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Zambales and local police nabbed a drug den operator and four others in a buy-bust operation in Purok 4, Barangay Matain, here on Saturday, Sept. 10.
Arrested were Loida M. Predas, 47, drug den operator, and her four patrons – Rico Mamaril, 41; and Melanie Gonzales, 45, both of Zambales; Danilo Flores, 44, and Eduardo Ferrer, 38, both from Pampanga.
As a result, Predas' makeshift drug den was dismantled and suspected shabu valued at P124,200 in seven heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets weighing 18 grams was seized.
Also recovered were assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.
Suspects face cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022.
