It was only in 2019 when Lucas Garcia, Matty Juniosa, and Enzo Almario made their mark as individuals via "Idol Philippines."
They would go on to form a group, naming themselves "iDolls."
Recently, the three surprised fans with the announcement that they're disbanding.
Enzo did so sharing behind-the-scenes photos taken at their last show.
"The end of an era," his caption read.
Then on Twitter, Enzo shared how he was really holding back his tears.
"Kasi 3 years din ‘yun sisters. through ups and downs, away at bati, kayong dalawa kasama ko. Thank you sa inyong dalawa and I love you both. ‘Til we cross paths again! iDolls signing off," he said along their picture.
Later, Lucas penned an appreciation post for his bandmates: "Mahabang taon ng kantahan, baklaan, awayan, iyakan, tawanan at mahalan tungo sa paalamanan. I will always cherish all those moments we spent together, all those laughter we shared, all those stories we told. Til we cross paths again! iDolls signing off. (heart emoji)."
It was Matty who shared the reason for the breakup.
According to him, it's because he will be pursuing his studies in the United Kingdom.
He is now aiming for a degree in Musical Theater.
Note that he graduated with a partial scholarship from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
He shared his excitement for the said endeavor.
Matty is set to fly abroad on Sept. 20.
