MB Daily News Update: World mourns passing of Queen Elizabeth II
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. mourned the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, hailing her as a “true figure of majesty”.
Marcos was among the hundreds of world leaders and well-known personalities who paid tribute to the longest-serving British monarch, who died at age 96. She will be succeeded by her eldest son King Charles III.
“Inday” has intensified into a severe tropical storm, and could even become stronger, according to the state weather agency.
The measure that will mandate the postponement of the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections was approved by the House Committee on Appropriations.
