Human skeletal remains discovered in Nueva Ecija victim of CTG atrocity – police

LUPAO, Nueva Ecija -- The human skeletal remains discovered by the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO) at Sitio Palmasyan in Barangay San Isidro in this town was allegedly victim of Communist Terrorist Group’s summary execution.

The Nueva Ecija police who conducted a Special Intelligence Operation, found the human skeletal remains on Wednesday, Sept. 7, on revelations made by a former member, a platoon commander, of the Communist Party of the Philippines/New People's Army.

A report by the NEPPO stated that human skeletal remains was an alleged victim of CTG’s atrocity.

Also involved in the operation were the Intelligence Operatives of 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, the 84th Infantry Battalion 7th Infantry Division of the Philippine Army (Support Units).

The former CTG member who revealed the human skeletal remains was identified as 'Ka Bong,’ a former member of CPP/NPA as Platoon Commander, Yunit, Guerilla Member, and Regional Courier in Central Luzon way back 1987 to 1996.
