DMW: Germany needs 600 Filipino RN with a salary of over P161,000/month

The German government is hiring at least 600 Filipino registered nurses to fill the shortage in the health workforce, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) announced on Thursday, Sept. 8.

An advisory posted on the DMW website says that the 600 Filipino nurses will be designated to government-partnered hospitals and elderly care centers in Germany under the Triple Win Project (TWP).

The advisory says, “no placement fee” is required with a starting monthly salary of €2,300 or equivalent to P132,410 for the starters, and €2,800 equates to P161,195 for the duly recognized qualified nurse by the German government.

“Translation of recognition documents and certification will be paid by the employer including the medical checks. Bonus payment for passing the A2 and B2 of €250 (each level or its PESO equivalent) in the first take,” the advisory read.

For documentation and processing, the DMW said the employer will pay for the visa and airfare from the Philippines to Germany and will organize and assist the employee in finding suitable accommodation.

Applicants must be Filipino registered nurses with at least one year of related professional experience in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and, or care institutions, or private duty nurses.

They are also required to undergo a German language proficiency class from November 2022 to January 2023.

Interested applicants can register online and secure an appointment via: www.dmw.gov.ph or submit personally their documentary requirements at the counters of the Manpower Registry Division (MRD) located on the ground floor of Blas F. Ople Building, Ortigas Avenue corner EDSA, Mandaluyong City.

The submission of applications expires on September 30, 2022.
