BTS’ Jimin voted star who looks best in hanbok for Chuseok 


K-pop boy band BTS’ Jimin emerged as the No. 1 star who looks the best in hanbok for Chuseok, or Korean Thanksgiving Day.

“Chuseok, Korean Thanksgiving Day, is one of the biggest and most important holidays in Korea. Family members from near and far come together to share food and stories and to give thanks to their ancestors,” according to the Visit Korea website.

This year, Chuseok is celebrated on Sept. 10 and the holiday period in South Korea is from Sept. 9 to 12.

Seven Edu, a math education company, conducted a poll from Aug. 10 to Sept. 5 among 2,377 people and asked them to name the star who looks best wearing a hanbok, or Korean traditional clothing, for Chuseok.

BTS’ Jimin emerged as No. 1 with 1,357 votes or 57.1 percent. Korean actor Park Bogum placed second with 443 votes or 18.46 percent.

Solo artist Kang Daniel bagged third place, getting 306 votes or 12.9 percent followed by Lee Seung-gi with 139 or 5.8 percent.

Recently, Jimin took first place as the Most Stylish Kpop Idol 2022 at the Shining Awards.

Jimin got 37,234 votes or 65.76 percent followed by EXO’s Kai, 9,825 (17.35 percent); BTS’ V, 6,769 (11.95 percent); BTS’ J-Hope, 1,611 (2.85 percent); BLACKPINK’s Lisa, 459 (0.81 percent); and TXT’s Yeonjun, 233 votes (0.41%).
