Ruru Madrid on Bianca Umali joining Iglesia ni Cristo

Actress Bianca Umali, like her boyfriend, Ruru Madrid, is now a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo.

Ruru is grateful with her decision.

But he believes he's not the reason why Bianca did so.

"For her kasi, inaral po niya. Somehow, di ko masasabi na she did it just for me," was how he put it.

More than anything, he sees it as a "big step," noting it signifies Bianca's commitment to their relationship.

It is as such that Ruru now considers Bianca "the one."

"Simula nung time na parang umabot ako sa point na pwede na akong magkaroon ng relationship, ngayon lang ako nakakita ng tao na susuportahan ako ng sobra, ganun din siya," he shared.

"Willing siya mag-take ng risk para ipakita niya lang sa akin or iparamdam sa akin kung gaano ako ka importante sa kanya. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na parang lahat ng gusto ko sa isang babae na sa kanya."

Ruru then talked about the reason why they kept their relationship private for a long time.

According to him, it was a conscious effort meant to thwart unwanted scrutiny.

"Parang lahat ng gagawin niyo, binabantayan," he said.

"So ito na lang yung natitirang bagay sa akin na ma-keep ko sa sarili ko... Ganun siya ka sagrado sa akin."
