President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. arrived in Singapore on Tuesday after a state visit to Indonesia, which he described as “more productive than expected”.

Stories on fertilizer supply coming from Indonesia, renewal of the defense pact between the two countries, and a plan to build a state-owned mall for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) are all listed in this Update.

Meanwhile, Singapore set the stage for a memorable visit by the President after it announced that it was naming an orchid after Marcos and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos.
