Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos has had the privilege of meeting Indonesian President Joko Widodo face-to-face.
Rep. Marcos, who is the senior deputy majority leader in the Philippine House of Representatives, posted photos of him and the 61-year-old Indonesian leader on Monday night, Sept. 5 on his Facebook.
"Highlights from the 2nd day of our state visit, thank you so much to his Excellency President Widodo for the hospitality he has shown to our President and his delegation," wrote Rep. Marcos, the eldest son of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

The elder Marcos is on back-to-back state visits, first to Indonesia and then to Singapore.
Together with some members of his Cabinet, President Marcos brought along his congressman-son and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos for the state visits.
