Pasay cops arrest 2 ‘Sputnik Gang’ members for possession of shabu


Operatives of Pasay Police Sub-Station 4 caught two “Sputnik Gang” members in possession of two sachets of shabu in a village on Monday afternoon, Sept. 5.

Police said the suspects, identified the suspects as Edward Ambo,19, and Ronald de Leon,21, were arrested around 1:40 p.m. at the corner of Arnaiz and M. dela Cruz Streets in Barangay 127, Pasay City.

Police Sub-Station 4 operatives were conducting “Oplan Galugad” when they chanced upon the suspects examining two transparent plastic sachets containing shabu.

The suspects were immediately apprehended after they yielded P5,780 worth of shabu.

They were charged with possession of illegal drugs, while the confiscated evidence was turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for examination.
