GMA Network warns public over scammers conducting fake casting auditions

GMA has warned the public about scammers who posed as members of Sparkle GMA Artist Center and promised them showbiz careers if they would send sexy or nude pictures.

The Sparkle GMA Artist Center has warned its followers that it does not hold auditions that way.

"Please beware of scammers who are using the name of GMA and Sparkle GMA Artist center for their own intentions.

"Employees of GMA and Sparkle will never ask you to attend casting auditions, whether in person or online, where you will be required to take off your clothes. Nor will you ever be asked to send sexy photos or images where you are unclothed," the statement read.

The broadcast network reiterated that audition-related matters, for now, are conducted through their website.
