Game 1 comeback powers RSG PH past ECHO

RSG Philippines sustained its hot streak and clobbered ECHO with a 2-0 sweep to notch its third straight win and further move up the leaderboard in the MPL Philippines Season 10 at the ICITE Auditorium, Saturday, Sept. 3.

The MSC king survived two Lord sieges before completing a huge base defense for a come-from-behind win which practically set the tone for clean sweep.

RSG PH went for the counter-engage on Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera’s initiation on the Tank Chou during ECHO’s Lord march at the 14-minute mark of Game 1. The engagement backfired as a timely Blazing Duet ultimate from Eman “Emann” Sangco melted all of the HPs of the heroes of ECHO.

That allowed Jhonard “Demonkite” Caranto on the Paquito and Nathanael “Nathzz” Crisologo on the Esmeralda to go for a chase against ECHO to complete a four-man wipe.

RSG then went for a one-lane push to take the first point of the series, 11-8. Demonkite finished with a 4-1-5 line while Arvie “Aqua” Calderon had a perfect game on the Kagura with a 4-0-4 KDA.

Shackled by the Game 1 loss, ECHO never recovered in Game 2 as RSG PH pounced on its opponent with its Atlas-Faramis combo.

RSG PH quickly built a 6-0 kill lead in the contest and never looked back. As the dust settled, the Raiders took the series-clinching win with a wire-to-wire 13-3 win. Demonkite ran wild on his jungle Karina with a 7-1-3 line while Aqua continued his spotless performance with another clean 3-0-9 tally.
