Blacklist International vented its ire on TNC Pro Team ML with a dominant 2-0 sweep to get back on the winning track in the MPL Philippines Season 10 at the ICITE Auditorium in Libis, Quezon City, Saturday, Sept. 3.

After coming up dry in Week 3 when the M3 World Champion absorbed two stunning losses at the hands of ECHO and Onic Philippine, Blacklist wasted no time and displayed its best form against the upset-seeking TNC to improve to the third spot of the standings with a 4-2 record.

Blacklist star duo of Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario were at the forefront of the attack, first in Game 1 with their jungler Barats and roaming Diggie combo.

TNC, behind the aggression of Ben “Benthings” Maglaque that led to pick-offs on Blacklist heroes, controlled the early game. Blacklist, though, using their patented UBE strat, slowly chopped the lead down.

A crucial team fight at the 13-minute mark where Blacklist scored a four-man wipe proved to be the killing blow as it went for a one lane push to take down the base turret down against TNC’s lone defender in Benthings.

Blacklist drew the series first blood with a 13-8 Game 1 win with OhmyV33nus orchestrating the attack with a 0-3-12 KDA on the Diggie. Edward “Edward” Dapadap also shone on the Esmeralda with a 4-1-4 tally while Wise added a 3-1-6 line.

There were no letups from there for Blacklist as it went on to punish TNC’s greedy lineup that featured Fanny, Natalia and Julian picks. Without a real frontline for TNC, Blacklist overpowered and peeled down its enemy heroes behind Kiel “Oheb” Soriano’s Wanwan and Salic “Hadji” Imam’s Kagura.

The presence of a tank Baxia pick for Wise and the protection and setup of OhmyV33nus on the Lolita gave Blacklist core heroes the space to safely dish out the damage from the distance.

Oheb put up a neat 4-0-5 KDA while OhmyV33nus bagged the MVP honors with a 1-0-9 line as Blacklist clinched the full three points with a 13-6 win in Game 2.
