"Frontline Sa Umaga," a daily morning news program on TV5, has apologized to celebrities Vice Ganda and Marian Rivera after it reported that the two showbiz personalities were not seeing eye to eye.

TV5 shared a video clip of newscaster Gretchen Ho apologizing on behalf of the news program.

On Sept. 1, Vice Ganda blew her top following a report on national television she had issues with Marian and made peace with her recently.

Vice Ganda pointed out she never had any arguments with Marian in the past.

The report came after both celebrities greeted each other and even posed for pictures when they met at a recent event, as shown in a clip making the rounds of social media.

Popular television host MJ Marfori of TV5 has denied as the source of the fake story.
