MB Daily News Update: US assures PH of commitment to Mutual Defense Treaty

United States Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin III gave the assurance that his country is committed to assist the Philippine armed forces, public vessels, as well as aircraft, in the South China Sea as part of the Mutual Defense Treaty.

The Department of Education (DepEd) issued guidelines on the suspension of classes and work in schools during times of weather disturbances that could be used by public officials in the future.

The budget of the Office of the President (OP) breezed through the House Committee on Appropriations as a matter of parliamentary courtesy.
