What to expect on September 15 -18
The Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) 2022 is set to happen this September. Organized by the the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), this biennial event brings the country's biggest auto manufacturers and distributors together to showcase their latest vehicles and technologies.

This year's motor show returns after a four-year hiatus where the motoring industry players have been constantly adjusting and adapting to the needs of consumers relative to the impacts of the pandemic.
During those years, mobility needs have radically changed, evident in the top-selling vehicle categories, the cars’ means of propulsion, and even how purchases are made. In tune with those changes, CAMPI members have continued to push the automotive industry forward by providing mobility solutions that cater to the ever-changing needs of Filipinos. As such, this year’s theme of “Mobility + Humanity: Innovating for the Common Good” hopes to reflect our new mobility needs. Now on its 8th edition, PIMS 2022 focuses on introducing innovations that will provide safer, more efficient and sustainable mobility.

As such, expect to see the newest cars, pickups, SUVs, MPVs, vans, and even sports cars from participating brands. True to the theme, many participating brands will also have electrified models like hybrids and even fully electric cars on display, and even for test drive.

“Despite the challenges, we are positive that the industry is on its way to revival and recovery as evidenced by the double digit growth in the past month with an 18.4% increase in vehicle sales year-to-date. Currently, we are almost at 57% of our annual industry target,” said Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez.
“In line with our road to recovery, we are happy to bring back the much-awaited Philippine International Motor Show, gathering the industry’s biggest car manufacturers to showcase how the latest vehicles and mobility innovations can drive us towards a better and more sustainable future,” added Atty. Gutierrez.
Visitors to PIMS 2022 can expect to see 13 of the top automotive brands including long-term partners BMW, Foton, Honda, Isuzu, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, and Toyota. The chamber also proudly welcomes its new members Chery, Geely, and Hyundai in unveiling their latest and most recent innovations.

Like previous editions of PIMS, the motor show will feature exclusive car launches and car displays in the brand booths and daily presentations of the country's leading auto manufacturers. In addition, spectators and guests of the can look forward to test driving some of the latest vehicles in the market from participating brands.
There's a place for aftermarket retail booths where special parts and service appointments will be offered, and several car clubs will hold car meets during the duration of the motor show. Spectators can also participate in a wide variety of family activities prepared to make the 8th edition of PIMS an enjoyable experience for everyone.
This year, Bank of the Philippines Islands (BPI) will be the exclusive auto financing partner and diamond sponsor of the motor show. Serving as the official mobility partner, Foton will be providing three Modernized Jeepneys as shuttle service during the four-day event. From 10AM to 7PM, the shuttles will ferry guests free of charge between two pickup points, World Trade Center and SMX Convention Center. The 8th PIMS will be held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from September 15 to 18, 2022 (Thursday to Sunday). Tickets can be purchased at the venue for P200 each, with the first 1,000 ticket buyers getting a 50% discount every show day. Gates will be open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
