Filipino fans celebrate BTS member Jungkook’s birthday with 60-meter mural 


Jungkook, member of Grammy-nominated K-pop boy band BTS, is celebrating his 25th birthday today, Sept. 1, and fans around the world are marking the milestone with different projects.

In the Philippines, Jungkook’s fans came up with a 60-meter mural, which they said is the longest mural for a Korean artist in the country.

The mural was put up by fanbase Grand Alliance PH on the wall of the Villa Sampaguita Resort in Antipolo, Rizal.

In addition, Grand Alliance PH held an Art Skills Activities for street children, who also received food and gifts.

They also held a feeding program for street children in partnership with ChildHope Foundation.

At Tuburan Elementary School in Iloilo, Grand Alliance PH gave school supplies to 100 students as part of celebrating Jungkook’s birthday.

At 7 p.m. tonight (Sept. 1), Grand Alliance PH will have another project at Luneta in Manila. The public can watch a fountain dance using Jungkook’s song “Still With You.”

Jungkook was born on Sept. 1, 1997 in Busan, South Korea and is the youngest member of BTS.
