Fire hits famous QC restaurant

A fire hit a famous two-storey restaurant along Tomas Morato Ave, Barangay Sacred Heart in Quezon City twice on Wednesday morning, Aug. 31.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Public Information Office, the fire first started at around 4:32 a.m. at Annabel's restaurant and was extinguished 5:03 a.m.

The Quezon City Fire District (QCFD) confirmed the fire was rekindled at around 8:15 a.m.

The fire was declared under control at around 9:08 a.m. and it was extinguished at around 9:57 a.m.

The incident caused and estimated P4,000,000 damage to property. There are no injuries or casualties reported.

Arson probers are still investigating the cause of fire which was reported to have originated in the function room on the second floor of the building.
