400 persons wanted by law nabbed during 'One Time, Big Time' manhunt operations in Central Luzon
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Almost 400 individuals wanted by law were arrested in different provinces in Central Luzon.
Forty-two of those arrested during a massive 24-hour manhunt operation dubbed One Time, Big Time (OTBT) across Central Luzon on Tuesday, Aug. 30, were dangerous outlaws.
Acting Region 3 Police Director PBGEN Cesar Pasiwen said the 42 most wanted persons have strings of warrants for crimes ranging from murder, robbery with extortion and rape.
However, the majority of other wanted persons were arrested for drug-related offenses, illegal gambling, violation of RA 9262 and threats among others.
BGEN Pasiwen said that since his assumption, units in Region 3 have carried out actual and proactive crime prevention drives by accounting all wanted persons, as well as clearing the streets of drug personalities.
Meanwhile, the Central Luzon Police director continues his series of command visits to check the status of police units and personnel on the ground to ensure the full implementation of all directives.
