Universal Robina Corporation’s Indonesian subsidiary has been named as Indonesia’s “Most Trusted Company” by the Indonesia Award Center.
“This award is a recognition of the efforts of our employees who work tirelessly with high engagement and dedication to continuously transform the company to be better every day and achieve commendable results even in the midst of a pandemic,” said URC Indonesia Country General Manager Taufiq Basthami in a statement.

The Indonesia Award Center seeks to recognize Indonesian companies that have a proven good track record in producing high-quality products and services, as well as contributed to Indonesia’s development and advancement.
URC Indonesia was awarded along with companies that were also recognized as being the Most Trusted Business, Most Trusted Product, Most Trusted Brand, and some other categories.
The Indonesia Award Center judged the companies according to their purpose and mission, sustainability programs and results, and their reach and impact on society.
Rachmawati "Ceha" Sutarto, URC Indonesia’s Marketing Director, said that being recognized as Indonesia’s most trusted company is “a reflection of consumers' appreciation for our products that live up to our purpose to delight everyone with good food choices.” URC Indonesia’s core brands continue to gain top honors in their respective categories, with Piattos ranking second from previously holding the third position in the first quarter last year.
Cloud 9, meanwhile, continues to grow its market share from quarter to quarter, coming in third in its category.
“URC Indonesia is committed to continuously striving harder not just to reach its targets but to make the organization a safe and enjoyable working environment for everyone,” said Fajar Indrianto, Country Human Resource Manager.
This commitment was seen recently when URC Indonesia was given the "Great Place to Work" certification.
