Korean actor Hwang In-youp to return to Manila

Korean actor Hwang In-youp, known for the dramas “True Beauty” and “The Sound of Magic,” will be coming back to Manila.

He will be holding his “Hwang In-youp: 1st Fan Meeting in Manila” on Sept. 24 at the New Frontier Theater.

At the fan meeting, fans can look forward to a memorable night with Hwang In-youp will have a close interaction with them and sing, and lucky winners will have the chance to get his autograph at the event.

Hwang In-youp (aka Hwang In-yeop) debuted as a runway model in 2017 before branching into acting in 2018 through a lead role in the web drama “Why.”

He starred in the drama “True Beauty” in 2020. This year, he starred in Netflix’s “The Sound of Magic” and headlined the drama “Why Her” with actress Seo Hyun-jin, which had its finale last July.

The actor spent time in the Philippines, studying at Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School and earning a degree in Bachelor in Fine Arts Major in Fashion Design in 2012 at the Philippine Women's College of Davao.
