“The allegations of sexual harassment in Bacoor National High School is very disturbing news and we are taking this very seriously. Upon inquiry, I was informed that the Schools Division Office (SDO) was made aware of these allegations of sexual harassment last week and that an investigation has already started and is currently underway,” said DepEd Spokesperson Michael Poa.

This was issued after a twitter thread containing the supposed conversations between students and teachers went viral on Sunday, Aug. 28. It was initially posted on Facebook but was later taken down.

Poa, on the other hand, said that the six teachers involved were not given any teaching load as investigations are still ongoing. He then added that they will continue to coordinate with concerned offices to further assess the situation.

“We will continue to coordinate with the SDO and the Regional Office concerned. We have zero tolerance for any form of abuse in our schools,” he added.
