Teenage high-value individual in illegal drugs trade in Bacolod falls

BACOLOD CITY – Police nabbed an 18-year-old boy considered as a high-value individual in the illegal drugs trade in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 2 here Friday, Aug. 26.

The suspect was identified as John Mark Gando, a resident of Barangay 2. His companion, Ralph Duadores, 25, another resident of Barangay 2, was also arrested.

Seized from them were 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P68,000.

Gando said that he is the fifth in his family to be arrested for a drug offense. Last year, he was apprehended for the same offense but was able to get free as he was still a minor.

He was served an arrest warrant with no bail recommended for a drug offense during the operation, police said.
