No member data records were affected by the fire that hit Social Security System (SSS)'s Main Office Building in East Avenue, Quezon City on Sunday morning, Aug. 28.

In a statement, SSS also assured its members, pensioners, and the general public that there is no interruption in its services in all branches nationwide and on its online applications My.SSS, SSS Mobile App, and uSSSap Tayo portals.
All payments will also be posted accordingly and members with urgent inquiries and concerns may message SSS on its official email and social media accounts, SSS added.
The fire started at 1:43 a.m. at the main building's UPS Room but its fire suppressant system immediately prevented the spread of the fire to other areas, SSS said.
The fire was declared under control at 3:35 a.m. and was put out at around 5:11 a.m., said the Bureau of Fire Protection -National Capital Region Public Information Office.
