P1-M worth of shabu seized from two target drug pushers nabbed in Quezon buy-bust


CANDELARIA, Quezon- Joint local and National Capital Region Police arrested two drug suspects and confiscated P1 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bukal Sur, on Saturday morning,Aug. 27, in this town.

P/Lt. Lovelynn Lalaunio of the Quezon Police public information office identified the suspects as Salahodin Solaiman, 26, and Nasser Ulama Gunda, 36, both residents of Malate, Manila.

The operatives of Police Drug Enforcement Group-Special Operations Unit of National Capital Region and Candelaria Philippine National Police conducted the buy-bust in Maharlika highway in this town.

Police confiscated about 50 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P1,020,000 and the boodle money.

Suspects were brought to Quezon Provincial Forensic Unit (QPFU), Camp Guillermo Nakar, Lucena City SD for laboratory examinations.

The two suspects are now in the custody of the Candelaria PNP. The two are facing criminal cases for violation of section 5, Article 2 of R.A. 9165.
